The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) draft was held here on Wednesday, with squads of 15 finalised for each of the six participating franchises. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan will play for Barbados at a price of 100,000 dollars, along with Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal. Tamim Iqbal, the other Bangladeshi in the T20 tournament, has been signed by St. Lucia for 70,000 dollars, where the other overseas players are South Africans Herschelle Gibbs and Albie Morkel. Marlon Samuels has been named a franchise player for Antigua and Barbuda, Kieron Pollard for Barbados, Sunil Narine for Guyana, Chris Gayle for Jamaica, Darren Sammy for St. Lucia and Dwayne Bravo for Trinidad & Tobago.
